Out of curiosity, is there a reason why v2 b25 was used instead of v2 b28 (aka V2 Milestone 3 build)?
Sure. Basically, I follow: http://www.oracle.com/technology/products/ias/toplink/jpa/download.html
Interesting, I wasn't aware that Oracle was also providing builds of toplink-essentials.
Yes, v2 b28 is provided by glassfish (note that they also have JPA standalone bundles[1]). Glassfish publishes snapshot builds (generally weekly) and milestone builds (the time period between each varies). I wonder what criteria Oracle uses for the builds that they decide to publish (since quite a few are missing from the page you mentioned). Anyway, I assumed you were using the builds from glassfish and as such was wondering if you were holding back due to a bug or something. Thanks for clearing that up.
