i am using compass to index customer and sku objects which total ~1 million objects. it currently takes ~5 hours for the CompassGps indexing (dual, both file based) process to complete.

when compass is utilized inside a webapp and an indexing operation is in progress and an attempt is made to stop or undeploy the webapp, it must wait until the operation is complete.

I have fixed this for hibernate and JPA, so you can try 1.2 M1.

I just downloaded and tried the 1.2 M1 snapshot and it still hangs.
